PresidentChi JowChi is a graduate from the University of Hawaii at Manoa majoring in electrical engineering and was the Secretary for SWE-UH Manoa. Right now, she is working at Hawaiian Electric as Operations Engineer.

Vice PresidentBrianne Tengan
Brianne Tengan is an Electrical Engineer at BAE Systems. She graduated with her Bachelors and Masters degrees from the University of Hawaii in 2019 and 2020 respectively. Upon graduation, she joined the Engineering Alumni Association of the University of Hawai'i Board of Directors to increase engagement with recent graduates and current students. In her free time, she enjoys playing video games.

TreasurerKristen Yoshida
Kristen graduated from the University of Hawaii Manoa with a BS and MS in Civil Engineering. She is Chair of the Hawaii Council of Engineering Societies (HCES). She is working as a civil engineer at Belt Collins Hawaii LLC.

Lauren Ogawa
Lauren is a Computer Support Specialist with six years of experience providing the best technical support possible. Lauren specializes in computer science and is responsible for installing and configuring hardware, software, systems, and networks, plan and execute maintenance upgrades, and diagnosing computer software and hardware problems. Lauren is a powerful force in the workplace and uses her positive attitude and inquisitive nature to effectively communicate with end-users to resolve technical problems. |

Lee Danielle Young - Vice President
Lee Danielle Young earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa (UHM) in December 2020. Since participating in her high school’s FIRST robotics team, she spent her undergraduate career exploring various mechanical, aerospace, and civil engineering projects while interning at the Hawaiʻi Space Flight Laboratory, Canada-France-Hawaiʻi Telescope, and an engineering consulting firm. During her studies, she also held various leadership roles in the Society of Women Engineers (SWE), American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), and was the Project Manager for her senior capstone project to design the 1U CubeSat, Ke Ao. Danielle is currently contributing to the development of the Artemis CubeSat Kit lab modules and activities as an educational accessibility intern working with Dr. Frankie Zhu at UHM. In her free time, she enjoys relaxing with her pet lovebirds, dog & cat sitting, rock climbing, traveling, and volunteering in the SWE/K-12 STEM community. Danielle previously served as Vice President FY22. |

Andrea Mansfeld - Treasurer
Andrea graduated with BS degrees in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering from the University of Idaho. She is currently a Materials Engineer at Oceanit Laboratories. She is passionate about STEM outreach to K12 and college students.

Tiffany Au - Vice President
Tiffany has been the SWE HI Secretary FY16, Vice President FY17, FY18, University of Hawaii VP of Membership and other collegiate section roles during FY11, FY12. She graduated from UH Manoa with a BS in Electrical Engineering and currently works at Hawaiian Electric Company.

Chancy Hopper - PresidentChancy was the SWE HI Vice President and was SWE President at Swarthmore College. She also graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder (MS Electrical) and UH Manoa (MBA). She would like to help SWE reach more engineers in Hawaii and build a solid network to help our women engineers with career and professional development. This in turn will help students see strong role models in technology fields.

Rena Chock - Section Rep
Rena has been a SWE President and member of the Santa Clara Collegiate section and has been a strong member of SWE-HI throughout its chartering and first years of existence. She is currently the SWE-HI Section Rep and attended meetings and traveled for conferences.
